
The countdown is on and now is the time to clamp down and get serious! After a great 2 1/2 hour ride on Saturday and 20k run on Sunday, it gave me a good feel as to what the weekends are going to be like for the next 20 weeks. Thanks to Amber and Darren for hosting the "Last Hurrah" party on Saturday night!
Starting a new online training log that allows me to download all my Garmin data directly into it so its a work in progress...more to come on that. Using a heart rate monitor for the first time last week on my runs and bike rides. It did indicate that my HR creeps up by about 10 BPM over my endurance sets so I got to check that out. Big hill workout coming this week on the bike and it seems that Coach Joe has us ramping up the intensity.
Spring is finally here, the weather is great....well for the most part...the snow yesterday was a slight setback, but were tough here!

Hope to be with ya for a lot of the weekend training sessions. Looks like you're going to be in GREAT shape for IMC!! I can't wait to see how well you are going to do, and yeah don't get caught up in our pissing match. Do your own thing and you'll be stronger.
